BOI Fair 2011 calls for voting for “environment-friendly pavilion”
25 exhibitors join “The Pavilion Contest”; prizes available for voters
BOI has invited interested persons and visitors to BOI Fair 2011 to vote for environment-friendly pavilions from 25 pavilions in “The Pavilion Contest” via www.boifair2011.com. The winning pavilions will be awarded plagues of honor from Prime Minister and the voters will be given a chance to win prizes.
Ms. Achaka Sriboonreung, secretary-general of BOI, said BOI Fair 2011: Going Green for the Future has organized The Pavilion Contest to award environment-friendly pavilions. The winners will be selected by a panel of distinguished judges and visitors who can vote via http://www.boifoir2011.com. The voters on the website are eligible to win souvenirs from BOI Fair 2011.
Twenty-five exhibitors from the public and private sectors joined the Pavilion Contest. From Automobile and Auto Parts Industry, there are TOYOTA, HONDA, GM, MITSUBISHI, NISSAN, KUBOTA, AEROKLAS, SIAM MICHELIN, SAMMITR, and BRIDGESTONE.
From Electronics and Electrical Industry, SAMSUNG, PANASONIC, TOSHIBA, DAIKIN, HITACHI and HUAWE are on the list. From Energy and Petrochemical Industry, joining the contest are PTT, SCG, and INDORAMA. Others are CP, DOUBLE A, REDBULL, SHELLHUT, TCEB, and Provincial Electricity Authority.
According to the contest’s criteria, the judging will be based on theme, concept, presentation, and activities which will be in line with energy saving and environmental preservation concept. In addition, decoration, creativity, construction, and demolition are required to reflect energy saving, energy efficiency, and minimal environmental impact.
The winner and the two runner-ups will be awarded plagues of honor from Prime Minister, Industry Minister, and Secretary-General of the Board of Investment. Winning pavilions will be announced January 16, 2012.
